World Famous Antique Hydrangea

Early on Oregon Coastal Flowers became quite famous for our antique hydrangea.  They start in late July, early August and will mature into the fall.  With time they turn in to the jewel tone antique we are so famous for.  At this stage hydrangeas can then be dried.

On Saturday it was all hands on deck to get flowers cut before the rains. There is only one thing worse than East winds for hydrangeas–a rain right afterwards, so we are busy harvesting as many antique hydrangeas as possible before the rains predicted this week.
